This explosive 80s band is here to take you on a time-traveling journey back to the neon-soaked era. Whether you're looking to dance, sing along, or simply bask in the nostalgic glow of the 80s, the Cherry Bombs are the band to see.
Formed in 2022, the Cherry Bombs were brought together after their fateful encounter at the annual Battle of the Fantasy Girl Bands held at the iconic Stephen Talkhouse. Their shared love for the music of the 80s and their electrifying performances catapulted them into the spotlight, capturing the hearts of audiences from the East End to the World.
Yuka Silvera, Gen-X Costume Designer from Tokyo, the founder of the band and the bassist, lays down the funky foundation that will keep your feet moving all night long. An exciting addition to the band is a Millennial dynamic multi-sensory solo performer, Mila Tina from Chile on drums who will blow your mind.
Leading the charge is the East End’s very own, Gen-Z, NYU Tisch graduate and rising performer, the charismatic Lola Lama. Her captivating vocals will effortlessly transport you from power ballads to high-energy anthems.
Adding a touch of Gen-X energy, artist, doctoral research fellow at Columbia University, and writer, Nika Nesgoda — the band’s cellist — whose strings soar through the mix, weaving a unique tapestry of sound.
But the Cherry Bombs' explosive performances wouldn't be complete without the Gen-X former Billboard Magazine, now East Hampton Star senior writer, Christopher Walsh who ignites the stage with his scorching guitar riffs, and the youngest Gen-Z, the singer songwriter and the pianist, Matthew Brand on keyboards.
The Cherry Bombs are here to take you on a musical journey through the ultimate setlist of greatest hits of the decade, ensuring a night of unforgettable fun and infectious nostalgia in edgy-stage costumes designed by Yuka, for your audience and party guests of all sizes and ages.
